Blog of the Association of Law Librarians in Central England. ALLICE has approximately 45 members from a range of organisations including law firms, barristers' chambers, government organisations and the academic sector. We hold quarterly lunchtime meetings, generally held in Birmingham city centre, for networking, discussion of relevant topics, or with guest speakers or publishers' representatives. ExploreYork
This blog was started in Nov 2009 to record the progress of the project to convert York's central library into Explore York, building on the success of its 2 branch libraries that have been changed into Explore facilities. This marks a partnership between the library service and the city's learning services. The blog was last posted to in April 2010 shortly before Explore was opened to the public on 24th May. Some nice posts with historic pictures. Not sure if this will continue or if this blog has now stalled.
